taralannenstanton: Great article on “taqwacore” with a somewhat unfortunate title. Interesting that Omar Waqar complains about any foreign music being fit into “world” music but all the bands & people in “taqwacore” are being lumped into Middle East in the title. Overall, it’s an excellent article though
