Sarmust Indie Rock / Dance Punk/ Mughal pop

This project draws from elements of Hindustani classical music and indie rock. It mixes dance-punk and proto-punk grooves with 60’s Bollywood filmi sentiment. Songs lyrics play with Sufi notions of divine love while the music pounds the rebellious beat of dissent.

EAF carves a place for himself in the world of instrumental electronic music by exploring a mixture between funk, drum and bass, jungle, dance hall, hip hop, bhangra and Indian classical and folk melodies to create a sound that is unique.

Diacritical Alternative / Indie rock / Funk

A Washington DC based rock band that existed from about 2004-2007. Their songs touched on social issues like racism, war, and immigration reform with a melodic sound, loud and angry at times but groove oriented. They were known to experiment with drones and odd times.

The Fanaa Fish Hardcore / Electronica / Foreign language

Fast sequenced beats mixed with vintage punk guitar tones create the backdrop for an interesting multi lingual vocal assault, which spews politically charged lyrics in English, Portuguese and Urdu. They credit Japanese hardcore band The Comes as their inspiration.
